COOK COUNTY, IL – Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart and Cook County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenage girl and her 20-month-old daughter from unincorporated Palatine Township (unincorporated Arlington Heights).

Sharon Tellez-Perez, 17, and her daughter were last seen at Tellez-Perez’ residence in the 4200 block of Bonhill Drive on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at around 1:00 p.m. when she told relatives she was leaving to go do laundry.

Family members believe she may be in the company of her boyfriend, who is the child’s father, and that they may be en route to Florida or Louisiana where he has relatives.

Tellez-Perez is described as approximately 5’5” tall and 120 pounds, with medium complected skin and dark brown shoulder-length hair. Anyone with information about Tellez-Perez’ whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Cook County Sheriff’s Police at 708- 865-4896, or the Cook County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 847-635-1188.
