Urgent appeal as police become ‘increasingly concerned’ over missing woman

Police have issued an urgent appeal to help find a missing woman from Bolton.
Greater Manchester Police says Sharon, whose surname has not been given, was last seen yesterday (February 7).
The 49-year-old was spotted on Plodder Lane at around 12pm and officers say they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare. Sharon is described as being of slim build, with medium length brown hair and brown eyes. When seen on Plodder Lane yesterday, she was wearing a black t-shirt with a skull on. Sharon was also seen wearing light blue jeans, a black coat and might have been wearing black pumps.
Anyone with details about Sharon’s disappearance is being urged to come forward with information as soon as possible. In a post on Facebook, a spokesperson for GMP Bolton South said: “Can you help us find a missing woman from Bolton? “Sharon, aged 49, was last seen on Plodder Lane at around 12pm on Monday, February 7 2022.
“She is described as being of a slim build with medium length brown hair and brown eyes. “Sharon was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a skull on, light blue jeans, possibly black pumps and a black coat. “Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Sharon and want to make sure she is safe and well.”
